How To Make Easy Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas
This sheet pan meal comes together so quickly! Here's a step-by-step guide:
Note: I love using my Extra Large Sheet Pan! The extra space allows you to spread out the food for even browning, or to cook larger quantities!
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk together.
- Add in the sliced chicken breast and stir until well combined. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap, and let it marinate in the refrigerator (30 minutes or more recommended, but at least 10 minutes if you are in a hurry).
- Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Cover a large baking sheet with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking oil. Arrange the chicken fajita mix in one layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Once done baking, squeeze the juice from one lime over the top of the fajitas and sprinkle with minced cilantro.
For Sizzling Chicken Fajitas:
- Place individual fajita skillets, or a large cast iron skillet, in the oven 10 minutes before your fajitas are done to get them hot.
- Then serve the chicken fajitas on the hot skillet and serve sizzling.
For Flaming Chicken Fajitas:
The optional fire show makes dinner so fun for family and friends! Just be safe and make sure you use Long Lighters to light these up. Here's how:
- Pour about ½ shot of tequila on one edge of the skillet.
- Immediately light! Hold the flame really close to (but not in) the tequila. (Sometimes it takes me a couple of tries!)
If you don't have individual fajita cast iron skillets, you can also light them up on a Large Cast Iron Skillet for all of your guest to pick from.
If you want your own individual fajita skillets, these ones are amazing (affiliate link):
What to Serve with Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas:
Eat the fajitas on their own for a low-carb meal, or serve with warm tortillas and make tacos! Here are some topping/side suggestions:
- Authentic Guacamole
- Salsa Roja or Salsa Verde {Red/Green Hot Sauce}
- Healthy Creamy Avocado Sauce
- Lime wedges
- Shredded Cheese
- Rice
- Beans
Enjoy! 🙂
