Ever have too many ripe avocados at once? Make a big batch of this guacamole and freeze it! I like to use gallon sized plastic freezer bags, and also mix in a little bit more lime juice to help keep it from browning.
To Freeze:
- Place your bag in a tall large cup or jar, and fold over the sides of the bag around the top edges of the cup.
- Spoon the guacamole into the bag.
- Remove the bag from the cup, flatten out the guacamole and remove any remaining air before sealing.
- Lay flat to freeze, for easy storing!
- When ready to use: Submerge the bag in water and let thaw for about 30 min-1 hour. Or, place the bag in the fridge to thaw overnight!
Enjoy! 🙂
