This Sweet & Spicy Apricot Glaze has a sweetness from the apricot preserves and spiciness from the Sriracha chili sauce. It's perfect for tossing with meatballs and serving them as an appetizer. Or, serve them as the main entree, over rice and a side of steamed veggies!
We also love eating it as a dip for foods, like chicken strips or fries!
I love that this sauce comes together in about 5 minutes, and only has 5 ingredients!
How to Make Sweet & Spicy Apricot Glaze
This sauce comes together so quickly! Simply:
- Add all ingredients into a small sauce pan, and whisk to combine.
- Turn stove on to medium-low heat. Bring to a simmer, and cook for 3 minutes, whisking occasionally.
- Remove from heat. (For a smoother consistency, use a hand blender to blend well.)
- Ready to serve!
Recipe Notes:
- If you prefer a less spicy sauce, just cut the amount fo Sriracha in half.
- Blending the sauce is optional, but I like to blend it for a smoother consistency if I am using a jar of Apricot preserves that has chunks.

Pour the sauce over meatballs, toss, then garnish with sesame seeds and sliced chives. Serve them with toothpicks as an appetizer. Or, serve them over rice with a side of steamed veggies!
Vegan Option: The sauce itself is vegan. Toss it with some crispy baked tofu, and serve over rice and veggies!
Enjoy! 🙂
